In Memory: Vince Pruitt
I learned this week that my friend, Vince Pruitt, has passed away at the young age of 36. This news has saddened and shocked many of us who knew him.
I met Vince at the Broadway Coffee Shop many years ago, and we quickly became good friends. Over the years we discussed many diverse subjects for hours upon end. I learned much from Vince and always held a high respect for him. His absence at the Coffee Shop will be noticed. He will be sorely missed.
I'm happy to have known Vince and to have spent much time with him, getting to know his thoughts on life and death, friendships and family, hobbies and interests, spirituality and truth, philosophy and science, and much more.
Vince was compassionate and friendly and got along well with everyone. He was always polite, courteous and respectful. Vince was caring and giving to those who asked. He was always happy and willing to share. He was curious and interested to discuss many diverse subjects. His attitude was always positive, happy and with smiles. I truly enjoyed his company and learned much from him.
I know Vince believed in salvation and trusted in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. He was a born-again believer and I believe he now stands in the presence of God. Vince was always willing to share the Gospel message and I am certain the Lord has rewarded him for his work while he was here. Vince helped to increase my faith by sharing truth - with compassion and concern.
